Skill introduction(20mins)
SET UP
1/2 pitch,1 Goal,6 cones,2 poles , All balls separated equally between both sides
OBJECTIVE
Player 1 plays the ball wide to player 2 who checks off the cone to pass into player 3 who plays into player 4 with back to goal and turns and takes the keeper on with a first time shot or one on one with keeper. Players must follow their pass and the shooter goes to the back of the other line
COACHES COMMENTS
1- See if we can use 2 touches
2-Check off your defender(cone)
3- Scan for options
4- Firm and accurate passing
STEP UP 1
1- The 3 can now pass into either 4 who can in turn play in the 3 for better option of shot.
NOTE- Players still follow their pass
STEP UP 2
Player 1 Can now pass to player 4 who in turn passes to 3 then out to 2 who cuts in and crosses to the opposite number 4 coming in at the back post
NOTE STEP UP
You can now add in a passive defender
NOTE- ROTATE GOAL KEEPERS EVERY 5 MINUTES

SKILL TRAINING PROGRESSION (20 mins) 4 v 6+Coach
SET UP
Half pitch,all balls on half way line,6 coloured bibs,Two goals
OBJECTIVE
This is a game scenario of using immagination and movement to make forward runs into dangerous positions for scoring GOALS
The coach plays the ball in and the ball live,play OFF SIDE
ENCOURAGE the 2 and 5 to overlap,there are only static defenders so they should find good angles of attack
NOTE - If the defender steals the ball then they pass back to the coach for a goal
CHANGE Defenders every 5 mins

First 10 mins the team with out the ball must only be passive defenders allowing the team in possesion to attack
2 mins drinks break

OBJECTIVE
First team to 10 points
- Goalkeeper feeds one of his three defenders and in turn pass to each other making oppurtunities to shoot
2 points if a defender scores a goal from long range
1 point if a pass is made to an attacker and they score
COACHES COMMENTS
Encourage to shoot on site
Find open space and passing lanes
When attacking can the forwards drag the defence out of position for a better long range option
NOTE- THIS SHOULD BE A FUN AND FAST EXCERCISE
Rotate the goalkeepers and the outfield players every 5 mins
