A different take on the transition game which features targets can be used when you have low numbers (who hasn't had that issue). 4 v 4 in a 20m x 25m playing area with a 5m enzone at each end. Teams attempt to play the ball into the endzone they are attacking to a moving teammate after successfully playing the ball they turn around and attack the other end. Play for a set amount of time or point total.
Purpose- Improve transitioning and speed of thought.
- Player cannot wait in the endzone.
- Players adjust their supporting position once the ball is played into the endzone.
- How fast can we transition after winning the ball?
- Can we play the ball forward?

SSG 4 v 4 with each team having a player restricted to their defensive 3rd to act as an outlet should we not be able to go forward. Rotate last player
- Last player communicate with players in front, marking assignments, who is open, be an option to alleviate pressure, switch the point of attack.

Numbers Up/Down (20 mins)
Two teams of four on a 25 x 30 meter playing area, play begins with a 1 v 1, team that is scored on adds a player to create a 2 v 1 and so on. After a team gets all their players on they begin to remove a player everytime they score, first team to get their players off wins. Situational game as the demands are constantly changing from even to numbers up or down.
- Scoring, numbers even 2 poiints, numbers up 1 point, numbers down 3 points, first team to get all players off 5 points.
- Can we use numerical advantage when numbers up, how do we defend with numbers down?
