Organization:
- set up as per diagram in a 25 x 30 area, 2-3 lines, no more than 5-6 players each line
- cones at aprox 3 yards apar(1,2,3,4) and at 5-6 yards ( 4,5,6)
- cones,pinies, balls
Players go through cones 1-4 as intructuted by cothen sprints to cone 5.
Next will do same thing, adding a stop in defensive position at cone 5 and going backwards to cone 6
Coach calls: 1-4-1 sprint; 1-3-2-4 sprint; 1-3-2-1 sprint etc
Coaching points:
- DO NOT COACH, guindance only
- include: quick feet, acceleration / deceleration, backward (jockey) movement, change of direction
- gradually increase intensity , effort

Players work in pairs as per diagram, in a 3 x 15 channels
Player in line 1 starting with a ball and play a pass to player in Line 2 and follows his pass.Player 2 starts dribbling the ball slowly in zig zag, while player 1 works pasively on proper defending ( position, quick feet, distance).
Switch roles after every full sequence.
Players face each other at line 1, player 1 pass the ball through player 2 legs and goes around him to defend. While ball is played through his legs, player 2 turns and try to chase ball and dribble it over the line 2.

Organization:
- all players at the touch line, performing slow movements and light jogging / walking for 5 min.
- Stretching exercises ( 5 min) for arms, legs, ankles, knees, hips 5-10 repetitions, hold for 5-10 sec in different position
Coaching points:

- aim to reduce heart rate back to resting rate and to stretch muscles to remove lactic acid build-up
- ensure all players are working
- review the session, re-hydration and nutrition

Stage 1 - Continuous movement with dynamic ROM (10 mins)
Organization:
- 12-16 players, in the 18 yard box
- equal numbers of yellow and red cones are placed inside the box, balls on top of cones
- players are asked to move to different colored cones when performing movements
Players move around in the box performing different movements, called by the coach:
- skipping, shuffling, jogging ( forward / backward), high knees, back kicks, squats above the ball, jogging and stop in defensive position in front of cone
Coaching points:

- slower movements first, linear movements at the beggining.
- while increase the tempo, try multidirectional moves
- focus on movements on lower extremities, not on muscles
- gradually increase heart rate and slowly increase muscle and body temp.
- Stay focus on , body position, stay low (from the hips), eyes on the ball
