A passes the ball to B, player B must have two touches. Player D must initiate pressure and player C must Recover the space.
Coaching points:
1. Pressure
2. Cover
3. Speed of the approach
4. Angle of the approach
5. Explain to the players the difference between the the defensive third, the middle third and final third.
a. In the defensive half we will send players away from the goal.
b. In the middle third where we have more numbers.
c. In the final third we will send the opponent inside.
6. We can touch key points on tracking players and the difference in the different areas of the field.
7. We can get very detailed but if the players are just learning first have them understand the basics (pressure and cover - And how it should look in the game)

Set up: a field 25 wide x 20 length (2 two goals to defend and two goals to attack)
1. essentially this is a 4v4 because the 2 extra goals in the game those goals will be players and we must teach the players with that idea. Also explain to them that in the game the goal is centrally is not wide. Therefore, those goals are considered players not a goal.
2. set up as many fields necessary and one of the fields you can include goalkeepers (use big goals so they get actions in front of the goals.
Players: 2v2 (4 players - 2 red and 2 green)

Focus on pressure - get the timing better on when to step or hold (understanding when to step or when to hold)
a. what tells us if we should step (numbers up or down) depending on the numbers and if we can win the ball or not
b. if the timing is perfect and we can intercept we want players to step (there will always be the risk of miss judging but as we work with players they will understand the timing.
Player A passes to B, B pass back to A. The two players keep passing back and forth while player C is timing when to run in between the ball and the two players. If the player C times well and interests the ball from player A and B, whoever loses the ball will become the defender. However, if player C times the ball wrong and it get through he needs to go back to the cone and try again until he can interest the ball.
