1 v 1 Attacking - Dribbling/running with the ball

Physical Literacy 3-4 min General movements
3 min ball contact warm-up
Equipment Used: Balls, Cones
Jogging 30 sec: Jog in any direction.
Lateral Movement 30 sec: move in any direction to any object side to side without clicking your heels
Move backward 30 sec: keep low, check your shoulders to see where you are going, and change direction.
One Foot Hops 30 sec: look to jump over as many objects as you can, switching feet (left/right)
Two Foot jumps 30 sec: big jumps over as many objects as you can
Clear the playing area: Dribble - 2min Use one ball dribble for a min lots of touches on the ball left and right foot, inside and out, do a turn using different parts of the feet
The move of the Week - Cut Back Move
Together the players run forward with the ball, and every 2 or 3 touches, they make a cut back move where the players step over the ball with 1 foot and then cut back with the outside of the same foot. Ask the players to work with both feet.

1 v 1 Attacking - Technical Practice
Set-Up
Set up the practice as shown in the above diagram.
The first player (1) looks to pass in to player ( 2 )(each player follows their pass). Player 2 passes into the player 3 who plays out to player 4. Player 4 plays into CF Player 5.
As the ball is played in to the center forward (player 5) one defender can come out and look to defend, if they win the ball back they can look to score in a mini goal.
The CF is looking to turn and attack the big goal and score.

Set-Up
Field Size: 30 x 30 Meters
Size of Ball: Size 4
Play 5v5 with a retreat line (shown in the diagram)

Procedure:
Once the ball goes out for a goal kick or the goalkeeper has control of the ball, the opposing team must retreat to the retreat line.
