2 blue attackers start on the yellow cones and attack the single red defender. The 2 blue attackers each have a ball and go at the same time. The 2 blues are in competition against each other; the first blue to score wins a point.
If red wins the ball, can he score in the opposite goal?
Coaching Points:
The attackers need to decide whether to attack the defender or let the other attacker attack first.
What factors determine their choices?
Are they confident enough to best the defender and score?
Encourage courageous play.

Start the practice with one blue on the touchline and the other higher up the pitch, marked by the red. The blue attacker has to lose his marker to receive the ball, or receive with the defender on his shoulder, shield the ball and link up with his teammate.
