Area: 25x30 (can change based on number or age of kids)
1-2 Players will start as "fireflies", rest of kids are within the grid without a ball. The "fireflies" will attempt to pass the ball into the other players, the other players will try and evade the ball. The game ends when there is only 1 or 2 non 'fireflies" left they will start the next round as 'fireflies"
Rules:
Ball can not strike player above the waist or it doesn't count.
Players must stay inside the grid or they become "fireflies"
Key Points:
Have fireflies striking the ball with the inside of their feet.
Be sure kids are stepping and following through when striking the ball.
While dribbling keep ball close
LOTS OF REPS
3-4: Coaches play as fireflies to help make more fireflies in the beginning.

Area: 3-4(15x15) 5-8(25x25)
Players stand outside of the grid and attempt to knock the ball in the middle of the grid of the cone. When someone knocks the ball of the cone they become "King/Queen of The Square" until someone new knocks the ball off. Do several rounds of 2-3 minutes each who ever is King/Queen wins.

Area: 20x20
Players go 1v1 or 2v2 and score by passing to a target, can be another player, ball on a cone or group of tall cones for the young kids. older group can pass to the other team and then start defending but if game is not running smoothly coaches play ball in. Coaches always play balls to 3-4 year olds. Targets can move left to right but can't come inside the grid.

Strong accurate passes
Keep ball on the ground
Make space with dribbling to pass the ball
Talking with teammates to complete pass

Passing Through Gates W/ a Partner
Area: 25x25
Players pair up and pass through gates. Do several rounds for about 1-2 minutes. Coaches time make kids keep track of passes completed.

2. Hands (limit steps)
3. Pass freely
4. limit touches (3-5)
Progressions: Have kids alternate colors, have kids do some sort of skill move after recieving pass, or add punishments for not having the most completed.
3-4 year old adjustments: Can put extra balls on cones and have them kick at the ball instead of players when all are down quickly restart.
Key Points:
Using inside of the foot and follow through on pass
Keep head up while dribbling to see which gate partner goes to next
Communicate with teammate through out the drill (before ball is passed and recieved). verbally/non-verbally
