Organization:
x4 mini goals. 4 players per group. Nearest cone to goal is level 1, middle cone level 2, far cone level 3. One player stands behind goal each time there is a shot (this player rotates each shot).
Instructions:
- All players must score from level 1 in order to move up to level 2 (then level 2 to 3, and so on).
- First group to complete level 3 wins.
Coaching Points:
- Body weight over the ball
- Point toes down
- Use laces for power
- Standing foot pointing towards goal
Progressions:
- Use weak foot only.
- Any foot (but if one player in the group uses weak foot and scores, all the group move up to next level - risk and reward).

Organization:
x2 fields. 4 teams of 4players. No GK's
Instructions:
Normal game rules apply. Players must shoot outside of the cone line though.
Coaching Points:
- When a player gets a sight of goal (being not too far out), they are encouraged to shoot.
- Try to shift the ball to the side of opposing players (creating a scoring chance) and shoot.
- Aim, Head over the ball (watch ball), strike with the laces
- When to shoot and where to shoot
Progressions:
- Insert Goalkeepers
- Free play for last part of the session (take out cones out)

Warm up - Ball mastery (20 mins)
Organization: 30x30yrd grid. Cones scattered in various areas of the grid
Instructions:
- Players to dribble around the area in/out of the cones.
- Players with a ball each doing ball mastery moving from cone to cone: bell touches, outside/inside, toe taps, rolls, roll-stop etc. (moves carried out using inside, outside, and bottom of the left foot and right foot). Also do ball skills at a cone (outside - inside, triangles etc.), both feet used.
- Players to practice dribbling moves at the cones (i.e. dribble at a cone with speed and do a move to change direction away from it). Moves include; fake, double fake, scissors, Ronaldo, roll-push, Maradona etc.
Dribbling games: Knockout, tunnel tag, garbage etc.
Coaching Points:
- Head up and look for space (look for a cone that other players are not going to). Also when doing the ball mastery look forward at the cone, training to get head up when moving with the ball.
- Body position low when performing the dribbling move to change direction
- Moves done at speed and under control
