1v1 Technical:
GK set on their knees.
1 will volley the ball at the GK for a 'W' catch, then immediately go into a spread position on 2 who will pretend to strike the ball. 5 x per side 3 x sets
Coaching Points:
chest forward, body square to the ball, arms wide & legs spread covering as much space as possible.
Progression 1:
GK in normal set position, 1 will do a low shot to the GK for a 'K barrier' throw back to 1 and then run to 2 for a low block position (2 will pretend to shoot). 5 x per side 3 x sets
Coaching Points:
K barrier technique, footwork, low block technique, don't plant the dropped knee
Progression 2:
GK set on their knees, 1 will hit a low shot to either left or right, (work both sides), GK makes a low gather save, get up to either smother, block or spread the incoming shot from 2 (who will try and score on the goal) 5 x per side 3 x sets

1v1 - Live
GK in set position.
1 will play a through ball either side of the mannequins, and 2 will be running onto it, and will try and score. GK has to be in set position, nose over toes, hands above the waist, body weight leaning forward, on the balls of your feet ready to be positive and effect the ball. The GK will have to make a decision from what occurs whether they smother, block or spread to effect the ball. 1pt for the attacker if he scores. 1pt for keeper if he saves. -2pts if megged. 5 x per side 3 x sets

1v1 Activation:
1 x Keeper (yellow)
1 x Server (Red)

Keeper starts in a forward lunge position, straight back leg, the server will throw the ball to either side of the keeper and on the bounce the keeper will push the ball back to the server, making sure to drop the back leg on the scoop for good balance technique. 5 x per side 2 x sets.
Progressions 1:
GK in a front facing. straight leg, wide stance, server drops the ball either side of the GK within arms reach, the GK lunges to the side the ball is served to pushing the ball with the hand, back to the server, making sure the body is square and flex in the leg to work the right muscle areas. 5 x per side 2 x sets.
Progression 2:
GK set in a deep lunge, 1 knee planted the other stretched out, body square, working the hamstring groin area. server feeds the ball to the stretched foot and the GK will again push the ball in a controlled technique back to the server. when pushing the ball back to the sever, don't slap the ball, controlled push back, also on impact of the ball, point outstretched toes out. 5 x per side 2 x sets.
Progression 3:
GK in the same set deep lunge position. this time the server will feed the ball high on the opposite to the outstretched leg, absorbing the ball and then push back to the server.5 x per side 2 x sets.
