Players with the ball will be the passer while players in the middle will be receivers.
Players will do a fundamentals exercise, paired with a physical literacy activity. After they receive the ball and make a pass they complete their physical literacy exercise through the center square and to another passer. Once they've gone through the square they will run to a receiver to complete their next fundamental skill.
1 minute per exercise, complete 2 exercises and switch passers and receivers.
Progressions
1. Pass with the inside/high knees.
2. Pass with laces/butt kicks.
3. Inside foot volley/hop on one foot.
4. Laces volley/hop on two feet.
5. Thigh, inside pass/skip.
* You can pair any fundamental skill with any physical literacy activity. I always like to start with the ball on the ground and move up towards their head.

Objective:
A tactical session designed to improve defenders and midfielders ability to play out from the back.
Organisation:
7 Red
1 GK, A Back 3, 2 Midfielders, 1 Target
Keep possession with trying to play the ball through the gates to the target player or to dribble through an open gate.
5 Black
1-3-1
Black try to win possession, aim to score in 10 to 15 seconds.
Targets:
1 - Striker: If available, DO NOT force!
2 - CM: If the other team is disorganized.
3 - Wing-Back: Wide on the touch line.
4 - CB: Is next to the goalkeeper, facing forward so they do not have to turn and can see the field (most common option).
Details:
Fast - Play the ball in quickly
Feet - Play to your teammate's feet (depending on the scenario), so they have time to evaluate the right choice and play
Flat - Pass needs to be on the ground
Follow - Support the player you just played the ball to and give an angle
Give yourself space from the retreat line
Center mids starting position behind the other team's center mid and strikers shoulders.
One wing-back makes a run or dribbles, the other stays and supports the center back.
If the opposing team is compact towards their own goal, we play short. If they are pressing us, we may play over their heads. Stay composed on the ball and make quick decisions.

Players can score on any net, this will promote lots of passing. Use a neutral if you have an odd amount of players, no goalkeepers!
Progressions
- Players must make x amount of passes to unlock the goals (modify depending on the skill of your group). Increase the amount of passes as they get better at the activity.
Coaching Points
- When one net is blocked by a defender can we get out of pressure by going out the other way?
- Turn with a big touch to get away from a defender to go out the other way
- Transfer feet ex. player on your right, pass ball on left foot
- Look over shoulder before receiving - Where are your teammates? Can you turn? Can you set?

Set up a 5v5 or 6v6 game dependent on the amount of players available (may need a neutral or coach in net).
1. Conditional Game - Everytime the ball goes out of play, start with a goal kick (15 mins).
2. Let the boys play but make sure they focus on the theme of the session (15 mins).
