Organization: Balls, cones, pylons
Duration: 15 minutes
Goalkeepers: 25 minutes
Instructions:
Coach plays a ball into one of the three attackers who go toward goal. Blue defender will go to the ball while the other 2 blue players make recovery runs to get goal side of the attackers. THe recovery run starts as soon as the attacker touches the ball.
If the defenders win the ball they try to score on the mini nets.
Split the group into two sides so the attacks are run from left and right side. Run 5 xs for attackers then switch
Coaching points:
Make sure defenders track the open players to get goal side.

Duration: 15 minutes
Instructions:
Red centre mid starts with a ball at centre, plays pass ahead to any of the forward 3. Ball is shot at net from outside the 18 then all 4 attackers drop to the retreat line, turn and face the ball, and get ready to press to the ball.
Defenders move into proper position but don't stop the initial shot. After the keeper has the ball defenders move into position to build out from the goal.
If red team win the ball they finish on goal. Blue team tries to get out of the defensive third.
Coaching points:
Communication- "drop" , "turn and face", "press"
Speed of play, both sides of the ball

Organization: Nets, balls, pinnies, cones
Duration: 20 minutes
U8- 5v5, cone off zones for shape.
U10- 7v7, focus on high press, and defenders at half.

Organization: Cones, balls, nets
Duration: A-10 minutes, B-15 minutes, C-20 minutes
Instructions:
A- Pass to central player to receive, turn and dribble around outside cone then finish, sprint back to start. Players follow the pass and continue until all the balls are in the goal.
B- Wall passes down and back. Finish on goal. Use static defenders after each pair has 3 turns.
C- Goalkeeper work
