2. Challenge players to use weak foot only - for dribbling and shooting.
3. Ask players to race back through the poles after shooting.
Good drill for speed and agility and great for dribbling.

Set up as above, use multiple balls from different locations.
1. Player to respond to coaches instruction (S,M,R,P) receive the ball using appropriate technique and pass into goal dictated by coach.
Mannequins in place so player return to start position and make an appropriate move to enable a correct pass.
For example, coach ask the player to SCAN, before MOVE, to RECEIVE using the correct technique (back foot, front foot etc) and to PLAY, finish with power and accuracy.
2. Player to make appropriate movement to allow a finish into the goal of their choosing. Coach should play the pass they see from the movement of the player.
Check understanding with feedback from the player.
Coach should request the player use a variety of surfaces and movements during the practice, including working off the back foot.

Players play 1 v 1 on appropriate sized pitch. Coach starts play by passing into one of the players, object of the game is for the player to manipulate the ball in their own half to create an opportunity to shoot in either of the opponents goals. The opposing player should work hard to try and prevent the opponents from scoring. If they block the ball, can they play quickly to try and score.
Play until one side has scored five goals and rotate the players.
Focus should be on movement to receive quick incisive decision making and play.
Players should maintain social distancing at all times and remain in their zones.
