Organization:
In a 10x10 yard area put three players inside the square and one player on each side of the square. Use one ball.
Activity:
The player on the outside starting with the ball plays the first pass to a player on the inside of the area. They then enter the area and pressure the player with the ball tryng to win it back. Players inside the area must pass the ball so all three inside players touch the ball before passing back to one of the players on the outside. The sequence starts over again and should be continuous.
Variations:
-To increase the difficulty allow two outside players to go in and pressure the ball.
-Add a fourth player in the middle to work incorporate working in a diamond.
-Increase the number or passes required before playing the ball to the outside.
Coaching Points:
-Encourage effort to keep the ball moving even when at a players feet.
-Encourage individual skill and creativity as well as quik accurate pasisng and touches.
-Coach players on where to take the first touch. Away from pressure or towards where they want to go.

Organization:
Set up two 10x10 yard areas next to each other with four players of opposite teams in each area. Use one ball.
Activity: When the red team is possession two blue players go across to try and win the ball back. Red tries to complete a certain amount of passes to get a point. If blue can win the ball back they attempt to pass to one of their team mates in their own area, this is worth three passes. Two red players then go across and try to win the ball back fom blue who are now trying to connect a certain number of passes in a row to get a point.
Coaching Points:
-Coach where to take the first touch, away form pressure or towrds were the player wants to go.
-Coach when and where to play the pass.
-Encourage one touch play were you can and two touch when you have to.
-Also encourage skill on the ball to create space while on the ball.
-Coach looking before the player receives the ball to improve speed of play.

Small sided game:
4 v 4, using the mini goals.
- No goalkeepers
- If the ball goes out of play, rather than throw in, the ball must be passed into play.
- If the ball goes over the goal line for a goal kick, the opposition must retreat to their own half of the pitch to encourage playing out from the back

Number Passing (15 mins)
Organization:
Play 2-3 teams in the same area and number each player 1-5. Play inside a 20x30 yard space with one ball per team. Teams should be wearing the same colored pinnies.
Activity:
Players pass the ball and move through the sequence of numbers. 1-2-3-4-5 and so on.
Variations:
-Adjust the passing sequence
-Adjust the number of touches per player
Coaching Points:
-Move after the pass.
-Emphasize weight and acuracy of the pass using the follow through.
-Encourage communication
-Anticipation
-First touch toward your next pass if possible
