1v1 Force One Way:
Blue plays the ball to Red and steps out to defend. If Blue takes the ball and plays it into a red player in line, it is one point. If red manages to pass the ball into the goal, it is worth 2 points. If red manages to dribble through the red cones, it is worth 1 point.
CP's:
-Curve your run as your approach the ball
-Slow down as your approach,
-be side on when you defend and don't let attacker cut across front foot.
-patient and pick right time to tackle
-don't be afraid to use your body

5v2 Rondos
Players are on the outside and try to keep the ball from two defenders in the middle. Defenders stay in the middle for minute and a half shifts
the two defenders cannot enter the shaded area.
attacking team gets a point if they knock over the cone in the middle
Coaching points:
-Use proper receiving/ passing technique
-Receive with back foot when possible (so that you can go in either direction with the next pass)
-Movement on the outsides to create a better passing angle
-speed of play
-move quickly to penetrate
-look to see if you can penetrate
-pressure cover

Activity Description:
-Two players start on one side of the lane, and one player starts on the opposite side. All players have soccer balls. Player 1 dribbles down to player 2. As soon as they get there, player 2 now dribbles to player 3 and repeat.
Defender in front moves:
-Lunge

-Shuffle
