Juggling Warm-Up
Organization:
In a 30x40 yard grid, players in groups of 2 (pairs) and a ball between the pair.
Instructions:
"Sequential Passing (Juggling) Challenge": One partner tosses the ball to the other partner who has 1 touch to play (juggle) a pass back to the tosser; who then has 2 touches to get it back to their partner; who then has 3 touches to get it back to their partner (the tosser); etc. If the pair allows the ball to touch the ground or messes up the number (pass) sequence, then they start again at 1. See how many consecutive sequential passes (juggles) each pair can get.
Coaching Points:
* Players try to improve their touches (suppleness, control and foot-eye coordination) by juggling with different surfaces of their feet & body.
* Partner has to line their body up to the ball (pass) in the air.
* Eye contact between the 2 players.
* Communication between the 2 players.
