Set-Up
1. The goalkeeper(s) start at the starting cone situated at the top of the agility ladder.
2. On start the GK takes small forward steps through the rungs of the agility ladder.
3. At the end of the agility ladder the GK receives a low ball from server 1.
4. GK takes a slow walk back to starting cone in front of hurdles.
5. On start the GK takes two footed jumps over each hurdle.
6. At the end of the hurdles the GK receives a mid height ball from server 2.
7. GK takes a slow walk back to starting cone in front of slalom poles.
8. On start the GK advances around the poles use small forwards and sidesteps.
9. At the end of the hurdles the GK receives a high ball from server 3.
Progressions-
1. Alternate the footwork i.e. ladders- in and out feet, hurdles- side jumps, poles- backwards and sidewards.
2. Alternate between low, mid and high balls for different obstacles.
Reflection Points/Look Out For-
1. Does the GK hold the correct stance through their footwork whilst tackling the obstacles?
2. Does the GK adopt the 'set' position prior to receiving the ball from the server?
