Double penalty box
Players instructed to shoot on sight to keep defenders on their toes.
Progression:
One team play outnumbered to make defending more critical
Place side bounce players, with one touch, to increase chaos in game
Coaching Points:
Can defenders press player on the ball to stop shots.
Can defenders show attackers away from goal.
Can defenders force a pass (backwards/sideways?) instead of a shot.
Can defenders press as a team.
Can defenders intercept and counter attack.

Half pitch. Normal football rules apply
can defenders man mark/track their man at set pieces (throw-ins, corners, free kicks)
Coaching points:
Set defence early.
Man to delay set piece
Goalkeeper/centre backs responsible for checking marking.
Take responsibility for the player you are marking to track run and put in a challenge for the ball.
Can defenders win the ball and counter attack.

End zone for scoring at each end of pitch
A goal is scored by passing to a forward who stops the ball in the end zone.
Players should man mark a particular opponent. Players should not enter the end zone before the ball does.
Progression:
Add bounce players on the outside. These players paly one touch.
Coaching Points:
Body shape to defend
Can players recognise intentions of their immediate opponent.
Can players be aware of opponents movements and track forward runs to prevent him from scoring.
Touch Tight or back off.
Can you spot danger elsewhere cover
Can defenders transition quickly to Counter/defend while opponents disorganised.
