Warm up Technical 1 (10 mins)

2 groups 10 players (additional player can be placed in any groups)

 

Description:

Follow the passing pattern.

6 sets of 1:30mins (90secs).  Switch middle players after every set. Coaching points should only focus on technical (passing, receiving, timing of the run, body position of middle players)

Coaching Point:

-passing into the space

-movement of the 3rd player movement

-Can this activity be done in 1 touch.

Description:

20W x 25L & neutral 10W x 25L

3v3 in the middle the neutral players play with the team in possession of the ball. The attacking team can attack on any goals.  The neutral can pass the ball to each other to look for passing lane options.

Description:

Same dimensions from previous exercise 2 goals on one side and cone goals on the other. Neutral players need to receive and control the ball to receive the point.  In this exercise the neutral players are there to support the 3v3 so the movement off the ball is important. We're looking to create attacking overloads.

Rotate defenders with attacking players

4 reps for each groups after the 4th rep switch defenders and repeat 4 reps. Total of 8 reps

 

Description:

Use field width and 15L 

Start with a 5v3 and looking to complete 5 passes. After 5 passes 3 attacking players can now attack the goal and 2 defenders can enter the 3rd defender will come from the goal to make a 3v2. We're looking to create passing lanes, 1v1, shooting at goal (most important, every movement and space created is to shoot at goal to score).
