The players will have a certain amount of passes before they go at goal. The passing pattern will vary.
As the coach encourage your players to communicate and to give each other responsibilities such as who will be counting? who will communicate to make the final pass?

In this exercise the players will be split in two teams of 6. There will be 1 player who is neutral and inside the zone. In each zone there will be 3 defenders and 3 attackers. When attacking the team will have to look for combination plays to attack the goal, the team in possession will be able to use the support neutral player to create an overload. Players must be moving around to create the space to attack.
If the defending team gets the ball they must immediately pass the ball to the neutral player and attack.
Variation if to easy- You can allow a defender to push up into the zone and allow the neutral player to enter the attacking 3rd zone.

In this activity the team will be positioned attack v defense. The attacking team will need to be in positions to combine and attack at goal. If the defending team gets the ball they must look for a through ball to score on the side goals. If the ball gets to the midfielders they are free to score

Follow the passing numbers. Players will work on receiving the ball straight and at an angle. When receiving the ball straight the players will work on inside receives and inside pass. At the angle the players will receive with the backfoot and pass with the other.
