Warm-up: (20 mins)

Organization:

1. 4 players per station.

2. 1 players inside the blue square and three players 1 in each red cone.

3. 2 soccer balls.

Instructions:

 The player inside the blue square receive ball from one player and pass it to the player without a ball, then turns and receives the second ball and pass it to the the player without a ball.

Coaching Points:

1. Proper body position before receiving a ball.

2. Quality of first touch: receive toward the direction you passing, soft contact with ball to keep it in the front and close.

3. Show the inside of foot to the middle of the ball with the ankle looked by pointing toe slightly up.

4. Eye contact before passing and receiving. 

Progressions:

Add movement after each pass for the players on the outside on the red cones, pass and go to free cone.

Organization:

 The same as before.

Instructions:

 The same as before but now the players that passes the ball accelerate and go pressure the ball (PASSIVE, NO TACKLES) then go to the free cone. 

Coaching Points:

1.Stay deep in the square to create more space and time.

2. Receive toward the direction of the next pass using the back foot.

3.Pick head up and be aware of the surroundings(Pressure, Support).

4. Verbal and visual communication.

 2 v 1 in the center area plus three players around as it shows in the diagram.

Instructions:

 The center player receives from the outside player and pass it to a different player also can combine with the second player in the center, the defender try to win it and dribble any where outside the station.

2. Receive toward the direction of the next pass using the back foot.

3.Pick head up and be aware of the surroundings(Pressure, Support).

4. Verbal and visual communication.

Organization:

 1. 40 x 20 yards.

 2. 2 small goals.

Instructions:

 4 v 4  small sided game, the players cannot make more then 3 touches.

Coaching Points:

 1. Movement to create more space and time.

2. Receive toward the direction of the next pass using the back foot.

3.Pick head up and be aware of the surroundings(Pressure, Support).

4. Verbal and visual communication. 

5. Spread out.

6. Triangulation to create passing angles and chances.
