Setup: 18w, 20l
1. Play begins with the coach playing to groups 1, 2, or 3 and it becomes a 3v3. However, all players are still limited to their grid and cannot leave it. The offense is still trying to score on mini-goals and the defense trying to win possession back and play to coach or one of the attacking groups.

Setup: 18w, 20l
1. Play begins with the coach playing to groups 1, 2, or 3 and it becomes a 3v3. Attackers and defenders can now go anywhere and the game is open for full fluid movement with no grids. Attackers try to hit one of the 6 big cones.

-keep runners in front of you and not off of the shoulder

Setup: 44w, 50L
1. Play begins with the coach yelling either 1, 2, 3, or 4, and the player that is called dribbles out with a ball and becomes a 4v4. Attackers and defenders cannot leave their grids until the ball has entered the 18yrd box.
Progression
2. From the start, now the two attacking central grids can move around, wide players must stay wide in grids.

-pressure, cover and balance
-keep runners in front of you and not off of the shoulder
-whoever steps to the ball, say "I go" or "my ball"

Setup: 44w, 50L
1. Now four attackers start on top of the defenders. Play begins with the coach yelling either 1, 2, 3, or 4, and the player that is called is allowed to play the ball into any of the four attackers. Attackers and defenders cannot leave their grids until the ball has entered the 18yrd box.
Progression
2. Three forwards up top, and one passer from the grids will play the ball in and then join the 4 to make it a 4v4.
3. Same thing but now you can either pass or dribble in to start the sequence

-Check shoulders and open body position when ball is wide and dealing with the cross to see attackers and clear ball.

Setup: Half of a field
1. Coach yells 1, 2, 3, or 4, and the groups play four vs four, with no restrictions.
Progression
2. Add two strikers, and make it a 6v4, with play beginning from one of the grids, playing into strikers and then play begins.
3. 7v4, whichever grid is called, that grid brings on two players, along with one from each grid and the two strikers making it 7v4
4. 7v4 but now players can pass or dribble in to start exercise

-Check shoulders and open body position when the ball is wide and deal with the cross to see attackers and clear ball.

Setup: 18w, 20l
1. Play begins with the coach playing to either group 1, 2, or 3. Whichever group gets the ball, a red defender comes onto the field and plays 1v1. The attacking player cannot dribble outside of their grid and they are trying to score on the mini goal (MG).
If red wins it, they play the ball back to the coach.
Coaching points:
-don't dive in and be patient
-wait for the attacker to make the mistake
-keep your chest between the ball
-when defender turns their back, get touch tight, arm on the attacker and looking through their legs to see ball.
