ball starts with white team, player one plays into player 2 for a set who then punches it out to wide men( ball speed vital) for one touch set to full back/winger to cross into the box where both players are running into along with a chasing defender, aim is to score, allow T2A.
When ball is dead, recovering defender now turns attacker, gets a ball and plays 3v2, with 2 original attackers now becoming defenders.
Coaching points: ball speed - move the opposition, get it out wide quickly
distance of support from setter - don't be too close to the crosser, leave him space to run into
types of cross - low/hard or front or back post?
3v2 - combinations/runs to create that yard for a shot on goal

1. players dribble up to middle cone, play to player opposite them, testing their touch, receiving players first touch should be left or right not straight ahead. start with 2 balls 2. player dribbles, to middle, plays forward for a set to then switch the play out to the other side, receiving player repeats down that side. Everyone moves on one cone every time, start with 2 balls. Split group into 2 number depending, 7/8 per grid
