Key Factors
- Encourage early shot taking.
- Encourage defenders to get out the block a soon as they have passed the ball, putting pressure on strikers.
- Remind players on the imprtance of what surface of their foot they strike the ball.

Organisation
- The player who feeds the ball to the striker is instanlty a defender.
- Shots scored from outside the 15m line score 5 points to heavily encoruage early shooting.
- Shots scored from inside the 15m line still get one point.
- Once a player has scored the defender should face the que and get ready to recieve a pass outside the 15m line.
Progressions
- Move 15 yeard line back to 20m
- Ask player who is passing tha ball in to send in low and hard passes forcing striker to think about his 1st touch.
- Ask player to feed in the ball to the striker with a bounce, forcing the striker to get the ball under control before shooting.
- Which team scores the most points in one minuite, ask a team captain to keep scores.

Key Factors
- Remind players this is a shooting practice not a passing or dribblng practice.
- 5 points for a scored 1 touch shot.
- 1 point just for taking a shot even if it misses
- 3 points for goals scored.
- Ask players to shout the scores aloud.
- If the ball goes outside the boundary pass it in to restart with a low hard pass.
- Have fun!
Organisation
- Same size boundries as previous drill with 4 mini goals placed around the pitch.
- Spare balls inbetween both goals, when all balls have gone ask players to collect and replace them.

Shooting technique
Key Factors
- Look at the target
- Eyes on the ball
- Think about the angle of approach
- None kicking foot in a comfortable position aong side the ball
- Strike the center of the ball
- Get your head over the ball before you strike to keep the ball low.
- Follow your foot through the ball to build up power.
Organisation
- 30 x 40 sized square with 2 goals side by side. (small goals enphasise keeping the ball low and accuracy).
- 5 players qued up with a ball on the corners on the goal line.
- Divide the pitch 15m away from the goal line.
- Position yourself in between the goals for better observation
- Striker runs from corner past the 15m line turns and gets ready to receive a pass, then takes a low hard shot into the small goals, the striker now collects the ball and joins the back of the que.
- The player who fed the bal to the stiker now passed the 15m line and repeats the drill.
