Warm Up
10 Minutes
Focus: Players recognizing space, changing speed and direction
Set Up:
Full court with 5x5 square safe zone in corner
Minimum 3 defenders holding bibs
All players with a ball
Game Outline:
Attacking players beginning in safe zones, score points by moving from one safe zone to another. Defenders attempting to tag Attackers. If defender tags attacker, defender drops bib and becomes attacker. Player who was tagged must pick up the bib before defending.
Game played for 2 minutes.
Scoring:
+1 each time attacking player successfully moves from one square to another
Game 1: No coaching
Game 2: Coaching prior to the start and during the flow
Game 3: Limited coaching to individual players

Technical Introduction
15 Minutes
Focus: Running with the Ball
Set Up:
Groups of 2 across court from each other
Each player with ball (if all players are not able to have a ball, combine groups but no more than 2 in a line)
Floor marker or cone in the middle
1. Delay Dribble - Players dribble at speed toward floor marker, fake the shot, place foot on ball. Proceed to pull ball back with sole of foot (delay dribble) all the way to the touchline. Repeat going with other foot.
2. Hesitation Move - Players dribble at speed toward floor marker, fake the shot, place foot on ball stopping the ball, roll the ball at an angle forward (stop with R foot, roll ball at an angle right, stop with L foot, roll ball at an angle left). Dribble at speed to the other side.
3. V Pull - begin same as above, perform V Pull.

Technical Dribbling Progression
15 Minutes
Focus: Running with the ball and Passing
Set Up:
Groups of 2 across court from each other
1 ball per group (should be able to get in groups of 2 max now)
Floor marker or cone in the middle
1. Player A dribbles out to marker, passes to player B. Player A backpedals back to their side. Player B receives on the move with the sole of their foot, rolling ball in front to repeat.
2. Player A dribbles out to marker, performs hesitation and passes ball to player B. Player A backpedals to starting point. Player B repeats
3. Player A dribbles out to marker, performs V Pull, passes to player B. Player A back pedals to starting point.
