Organization:

Different color cones/gates set up as shown
Each player with a ball
Instructions:
1. For two minutes every player must dribble around using the Messi and Ronaldo touches we reviewed last practice and go through as many gates as they can.
2. Each gate equals one point. You can not dribble back and forth through a gate more than once.
3. Play 2-3 rounds of this, each time comparing the previous score to the last.
Coaching Points:
Keep your head up - (1) Look for open space; (2) If a player is already at the gate your headed towards find a different one.
Individual technique - Messi vs. Ronaldo
Change in speed and direction
Progressions:
P1 - Tell the players that every time they go through a blue gate they must then go through a yellow gate
P2 - See if anyone catches on to the triangle gate(s)
P3 - Decrease the time
P4 - Points are lost if two players run into each other

Instructions:
4 or more castles, eachwitha castle master in it. Players have to dribble through the castle and make sure their balls don't get tagged to earn a point
Coaching Points:
Look up when you are dribbling
Attack castles when castle masters are not looking

Involve coaches, more points if you beat a castle guarded by a coach

Organization:
20 x 15 grid split into (2x) 10 x 15 grids
Even number of players distributed per grid
Each player with a ball
Instructions:
1. Each grid represents the castle of a country.
2. The objective is to dribble around the grid and keep possession of your ball.
3. If a player knocks your ball out of bounds, or you dribble out of the grid due to pressure you must move from the grid you were just in to the next. If you kick another player's ball out of bounds you are one step closer to winning the title: Queen/King of the Castle.
4. You become the Queen/King of the Castle by keep good ball control and being the last player in the grid.
Coaching Points:
1. Keep you head up - Look out for other players who are looking to steal/kick your ball away
2. Recognize when to use Messi vs. Ronaldo touches
3. Using different surfaces of the foot to control the ball (Motor / Individual tech Skills)
4. Shielding. Place the ball on the foot furthest from the player who is trying to kick your ball out - the defender. (Motor / Individual tech + tact Skills)
5. Individual Tactics - seeing if any of the players have any strategies to keep their ball or kicking another player's ball away.

Instructions:
1. Allow the players to dribble around freely
2. Review Messi vs. Ronaldo touches
3. If players can not control the ball and it continues to go out, play 5 lives (each time a player crashes or runs out of bounds they lose a life).
4. (P) - Knock out. One player starts out as "it" and tries to kick the other player's balls away. If a ball is kicked out of bounds then that player becomes "it" as well.
Coaching Points:
1. Keep you head up - Find space.
2. Recognize when to use Messi vs. Ronaldo touches
3. Change of speed and direction
4. Use different surfaces of the foot to control the ball
Progressions:
