Players circle up together and sit with ball, Ask player question and name

Question for Session 1 is what is your Faviorte color

Question for Session 2 is what is your Favorite food.

Instructions:

-After question and names players stand

-Teach them Freeze (Foot on ball when Frozen)

-Roll ball under foot back and forth, Side to Side, and around in a circle

-Do this on both feet.

-Every exercise is done twice

-jog

-backwards

-sideways

-hop like a bunny

-walk like a bear

-Sprint

Coaching Points:

- Jog: move arms back and forth

- Backwards: Look over shoulder to see where you are going

- Sideways: dont allow feet to cross or touch

- Hop:bend knees to allow you to jump farther

- Bear Walking: only hands and feet can touch the ground

- Sprint: Be up on your toes

Fetch and Score

Organization:

-Goals are color coordinated

-All players have a soccer ball

Instructions:

-Players are all puppies chasing their soccer ball

-Coaches throw the ball allowing the player to "fetch" the ball

-The coach will yell a color for that player to go score in.

-Players must score in the color the coach said

-They must go to a different goal to get a new ball

-play for a minute, see who can score the most goals

Coaching Points:

-Discuss head up

-Small dribbles as you get closer to goal

-Bigger dribbles if you are far from your goal.

-Players are Bumble Bees who need to make honey by going to get nector

-Teams go one at a time to go get the nector and bring it back to their bee hive

-They high five their teammate so they can go next

-After all nector is gone count to see who has the most

-use feet to score goals

-Dribble with small touches back to your goal

-head up to see where all soccer balls

-Allow Bees to steal ball from other bee hives

Instructions:

-Players are Zoo animals who have escaped from the zoo

-Coaches are zoo keepers who want to catch those animals by tagging them with a pinnie (Zoo Keeper Net)

-If wild animal gets caught they become a zoo keeper as well.

-Games continues till all animals are caught.

Coaching Points:

-Heads up to see where zoo keepers are

-If space is in front run quickly

-If Zoo Keeper is in front, move left and right to get out of way

-Always looking around for best way to other side of the Zoo.
