Instructions:
- 1v1 game to goal
- Player starts game by passing ball into field
- Forward collects ball
- Defender then must run around attacker before being live to win the ball
Play until a goal is scored or ball goes out of bounds
Coaching Points/Questions:
Defender:
- Reactions to get goalside and press quickly
Attacker:
- Decision; shoot early or dribble
- Use of stop-starts and turns, when and why?
Regressions/Progressions:
- Switch sides and work on both feet

2 box keepaway - as above
Instructions:
Defending team send two players across to look to win the ball from the team of 6.
7 passes for the team in possession = 1 point.
If defending team can win ball and pass back to teammates in other box they win a point.
When ball leaves field, a new ball is played in by the coach.
Play for 90 seconds.
Coaching Points:
- Attacking shape of team in possession
- Speed of thought and movement in moment of transition
- Speed of reaction when ball is won/lost
- Ability to disguise passes
- Angles of support
- Think about the next pass before the ball arrives at your feet
Progressions:
- Play 6v3 if the team in possession are keeping the ball too easily

Instructions:
4v4 game. Teams can score in either goal but must posses the ball in both sides of the field before they can score. When ball leaves play a new ball is played in by the coach. As soon as a goal is scored the losing team leave the field and are replaced by the resting team. Play 3 sets x 6 minutes.

- Moments to use a turn in a game setting
- Correct execution of turning techniques
- Awareness of defenders, space and teammates

4) Quads x2
Will add in ball to perform ball mastery.

4) Roll/Touch
Will then add in fast feet elements to increase tempo.
