Next keeper goes
Progressions:
After 1-2 keeper makes a blocking save from either server
Instead of 1-2 receive volley or strike from server
Instead of alternating left and right for save, middle server points to which side (visual cues before Save)

Organisation:
4 mini goals are placed in a square approximately 12 yards apart.
Two servers place a supply of balls around the outside of the area.
The four goalkeepers stand in front of and defend one of the small goals each.
Practice Detail:
The two servers deliver the balls alternately
The servers can attempt to score in any one of the four goals
The goalkeepers attempt to protect the goal using and utilising all parts of the body
If a goalkeeper secures the ball upon saving then they can attempt to score against any one of the other three goalkeepers
Progression(s):
One of the servers moves into the centre of the area and the single server can still score into any of the four goals but they can also play into the centre server who can then attempt to score into any one of the four goals
Outcomes:
Set position on strike - triggers
Handling technique decisions
Diving technique decisions
Parrying/defecting
Lower body saves – blocking/spreading/foot saves
Agility
Mobility
Flexibility

Activation:
Introduce the correct Blocking/ Spreading technique first
Swap between tennis balls, mini balls, and full size balls
Organisation:
A. Three 1 yard 'mini goals' are created with the use of flat spots or
disc cones. The central goal is sqaure to the server and the two
outer goals are angled diagonallyto the side of the central goal.
B. The GK and server stand approximatelytwo feet apart and a ball
is placed on the ground, equidistant between the two.
1. The server randomly places a foot, left or right, on the ball
without moving the ball from its static, starting position.
2. The goalkeeper reacts by dropping and turning into the blocking
shape depending on the foot that the server places onto the ball.
Key Points:
1. Triggers - Depending on the foot with which the server makes contact with the ball, the goalkeeper will adopt the correct blocking
shape, turning left or right to form barrier between the ball and the goal.
2. GK decision to use and utilise all parts of the bodyto make save - hand/arm, leg/foot/, body
3. Bodyweight forward and head over ball as contact with the ball is made is made
4. Space between knee/heel and leg/arm must be minimal to prevent ball going through gap between both
5. Timing when dropping into shape
