Description
6v3 possession game. Area divided into 4 10x10 boxes. One team of 3 takes up one box, the other team of 3 take a box each to fill all 4 boxes. Defending team stands in the middle of the area.
1 defender enters box where team of 3 are and they play 3v1 for 5 passes. After 5 passes that team must transfer ball to another box where 1 player will be waiting from the next team of 3. On this transfer, the other 2 players sprint into that box to support and the team that just had the ball spread out and take a box each. A new defender enters.
If the defending team wins the ball they get to change with team that loses possession.

Description
3v3 +1 with 2 outside bouncers. Area split in half. The aim of the practice is to keep possession using the neutral and the bouncer to create a 5v3 for 5 passes, then transfer the ball to the opposite side bouncer. On this transition, we are looking for quality movement to get across to the other side to support the ball and keep it. Play must always stay in one half until the transfer and every player must be in the half with the ball.
Key Points
- Communication and Decision Making
- Creating angles of support to keep possession
- Taking opportunity to switch the ball
- Transition with speed to get across and keep the ball
- Consistent triangles and quality lines of pass to support ball
