1 v 1s- Attacking and defending.
Area is marked into grids or channels, so the players are paired up, set up so one defends and other attacks.
Purpose of the drill is to attack the opposite line,
-A is the attacker,he must take on the defender (B) by dribbling the ball to the opposite side of the marked area.
-B will defend the line, but will come out to press the player once he touches the ball,
-once the ball isone or goes out, players change roles, so both can defend and attack
Coaches look out for direct attacking, and good body position to defend.
Encourage the attacking player to drive past the defender at pace after beating him,
Encourage the defender to close the space for the attcker to drive into,

Warm up ball manipulation (10 mins)
WARM UP-BALL MANIPULATION
-Players dribble ball inside the circle using both feet and various surfaces of the foot
-Players need to be aware of the coach as he will have coloured cones to signal different turns or tricks
-this will reduce the amount of time players dribble with their heads down, not aware of the space and surroundings
-Coach will look out for players awareness and their control of the ball
