As the server gets the ball midfield 2 to get as wide as possible to stretch the 2 opposing midfield screens. The server if the pass is on may go straight into the number 10. The two attacking midfielders must then try and get the ball into the number 10 who plays from there. The two attacking midfielders can re use the server to recycle the ball if pass isnt on.
1st option for number 10
- Play in number 9 who has pealed onto the shoulder of the defender. 9 holds off the defender and gets a shot off at goal. If he is marked tightly he could then lay off number 10 for a shot.
Secondary players
6 and 8 provide high supporting positions

The same build up as option 1, once number 10 has possession of the ball number 9 peels off onto outside shoulder of defender allowing number 10 to engage defender in a 1v1. If the other defender comes across to double up the pass would then be on to slip in the number 9.

If 10 is tightly marked option could be
1. set CM player as shown who can shoot, play in the 9 or a wideman
- Number 8 becomes more central to provide cover.
2. quick first time pass into 9 where 10 spins around defender opening up the 1-2
3. CM player to engage defence and take a shot at goal.
Secondary players
8 Provides forward run to support play, 6 provides cover

If screens stay narrow the pass can go into either the 9 or 10 around the screens.
9 then holds the ball up, number 10 makes a supporting run
Options for number 10
- Have a shot at goal
- Engage defender in a 1v1
- Creative play by 9 and 10 (player driven)
Secondary players
6 and 8 provide high supporting positions

General Set up
Set up with 2 DMF(deep midfield), a No.9 and No.10.
Mark off zone 14, put in 2 CB on opposition with 2 midfield screens .
9 and 10 stay high to begin with, they also pull slightly wider to try and split CB's.
Ball is played from one DMF to the other, this triggers No.10 to produce opposite movement and pull off diagonally and infront of where No.9 is. No.9 at the same time pulls away to where 10 was originally.
Number 10 to recieve the ball on the back foot and look to play forward i.e engage defender in a 1v1 or play in number 9
