Session Organisation
Passing & Recieving Drill
2 grid area 15 x 15 area.+ 2 outside grid area 25 x 25 area. Footballs & Cones.
Detail
1 group of 8 or more work in outside grid area 25 x 25 area. Players positioned as stated.
2 groups work at the same time, in each 15x15 area.Players positioned as stated.
Each group start with 1 ball and go through basic instruction then introduce a 2nd ball for intensity. lots of variations for progression.
1, Show to opposite side of mannequin( different angle of pass- disguised)
2, 1 passes to 2 who plays him back on other side of mannequin ( one two)
3, Go opposite way so its mostly left foot.ETC.

Session Organisation
Crossing & Finishing, Technical Drill.
Half pitch. 2 full-size goals; 6 manaquines; Footballs + Cones, set up has shown in diagram.
Change goal to opposite side so to work both Right & Left equaly.
Detail
G/Keeper in each goal. 1 passes ball into 2, Receiving Striker, he sets back to 1 and moves round manaquine, 1 plays into any receiving player who drifts of the maniquine. 1 makes forward movement into the box to support the striker. Receiving out-side player delivers quality cross into highlighted danger zone. The striker and supporting player has only 1 touch each to set or finish and can score in either goal but preferably the main faceing goal. Rotate players when the ball goes dead.
2 comes off, Player who played the cross, becomes the Striker and 1 takes the place of the out-side receiver. 6 replaces 1 and becomes the server, repeat and then introduce progression.
3 angles of delivery and instinctive finishing.

Session Organisation
Half pitch with goals at each end, as illustrated. 16/20 players (incl. 2GK’s) organised 10v8, 9v7, supply of balls by goal with GK. Practice starts with: GK rolling ball to either MF for attacking team.

Quality & timing of A’s passing & movement. Receiving, screening & turning skills in MF & quality movement, crosses and finish in attacking areas. Effective ball retention in all areas & precise passing execution. Individual creativity in 1v1 2v1 situations, looking for goal scoring opportunities.
Depth of D’s back line & position of screening player. D’s marking & covering positions. Speed & precision of counter-attack by D’s, breaking out into MF areas.
Concentration of A’s defenders to safeguard against possible counter-attack.
Tactical
Speed & movement of ball by A’s. Individual & combined decisions on passing, dribbling, turning,
running with the ball, quality crosses and finishing.
Movement & support to exploit space available in front, behind & between D’s. Overlapping timely runs from deep. Maintain composure in possession, looking for penetrating pass, cross and finish
but having patience to explore alternative options. Pass selection: when to play to feet, when to play to space.
Physical
Improve Aerobic Fitness through Game Situations. Speed/Strength and Power will be achieved through game specific work.

Communication & coordination of team movement to unbalance D’s.
