Objective: Improving our ability to complete combination plays specifically the wall pass
Area: ¼ of Campton Indoor Field
Activity: Divide the team into two teams in different colors. Object is to wall pass opposing players to eliminate them from the game. Team with the most players at the end of the game (coach decided or time) wins.
Coaching Points: Proper pace of the ball in, visual and verbal cues, change of pace from the 1st attacker after pass, how do we lay the ball and with what foot, ball played in front of first attacker, disguising of the first pass, and can we play and be in motion already. Recognize situations for a wall pass: run at and engage a first defender, look for the wall passing player, complete wall pass.
