Organization:-half of field setup
-white: 4 defenders
-Blue: 1 midfielder & 2 attackers
Instructions: 1. Blue attempts to play keep away from white.
2. Blue must get three passes together in order to score & white must get 5 passes.
3. Activity starts with central midfielder playing the ball into one of two attackers.
4. Attackers look to score but can also play back to central midfielder to restart attack.
Coaching Points:-closest player to ball should apply pressure
-next two players look to provide good cover with proper angles/distance
-furtherest player should provide balance
-defenders should remain laterally compact
-players should pass on attackers when they move into different zone
Visual Cues:-position of the ball
-closest defender moves to pressure ball
-ball goes out of bounds
Progressions:P-add more players
R-add cones to designate different zones

-white:1GK & 4 defenders
-Blue: 4 midfielders & 2 attackers
Instructions: 1. White team attempt to stop blue from scoring.
2. Blue attempts to try to score on goal.
3. Activity starts with central midfielder playing into one of the other midfielders.
4. Attacking team can play back into the central midfielder, who can restart attack.
5. Defending team if possession of ball is won, can play pass through flags on opposite end to score.
6. Play for set time.
Coaching Points:-closest player to the ball, applys pressure
-fartherest defender adds balance
-2nd defender covers
-defending techniques( angle of approach, sideways stance, etc.)
-defenders stay laterally compact
Visual Cues:-position of the ball
-1st defender makes move
-goal is scored/ball goes out
Progressions:P-Add big goal/GK
R-remove one attacker

Instructions: 1. White team attempts to play to targets to score.
2. Blue team attempts to score on goal.
3. Offside rule applys.
4. Activity starts from central defender who plays into one of the midfielders.
5. Blue team can play back to the central defender who is allowed to move side to side to restart the attack.
6. Play for a set time & rotate players.
